Harper and Rainforest Action Network Collide Over New Warning
A new advisory from the Rainforest Action Network that some of HarperCollins's children's books contain fiber from vulnerable rainforests has brought an angry reply from the publisher who challenged RAN to provide HC with the test results. RAN in turn wants HC to provide them with more information about its paper sourcing. more »

Little, Brown has made a host of promotions. In marketing/publicity, Heather Fain has been promoted to v-p, associate publisher and marketing director. She became v-p/marketing director in 2008. Nicole Dewey has been promoted to v-p, executive director of publicity. Recently, she worked on the publicity campaign for The Casual Vacancy, among many other titles. Sabrina Callahan has been promoted to director of publicity, James Patterson. Callahan joined Little, Brown in 2007 and in 2011 became the publicist for Patterson. Theresa Giacopasi has been promoted to online publicity manager. She joined the publisher in 2011 as an online senior publicist. more » »
