| Penguin has expanded the number of Barnes & Noble outlets in which it operates the Best of Penguin displays. Measuring about 200 sq. ft. and featuring 150 titles, the first BOP sections were opened in 10 B&N's last September and this fall Penguin added another 25 stores. "We felt very comfortable in rolling out the displays to mores stores," said B&N's Patricia Bostelman. more » Another audiobook publisher is getting into the print and e-book business. Brilliance Audio will begin publishing hardcover, trade paperbacks and e-book originals next year under the Grand Harbor Press imprint. Grand Harbor will focus on self-help and inspirational categories. more » Children's multimedia developer Ruckus Media is rereleasing its Ruckus Reader app, this time as a universal app for Apple devices—including the iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone—driven by a focus on the growth of mobile computing in the children's market. The new Ruckus Reader app will launch with about 100 interactive titles, readalong e-books and videos and offers publishers a combination distribution channel, retail marketplace and digital reading/consuming software. more » Baker & Taylor this week announced that it has expanded its collection management with new staff and a new facility in Crystal Lake, Ill. The new facility will complement B&T's existing collection management department in Bridgewater, N.J., with the additional librarian staff in Crystal Lake coming from the former Book Wholesalers, Inc. Rosetta Releasing Arthur C. Clarke Collection E-book publisher RosettaBooks is publishing digital editions of 35 titles by iconic science fiction author, Arthur C. Clarke. Among the 35 titles is Clarke's 2001: A Space Odyssey, which was developed at the same time as Stanley Kubrick was making his famous film of the same name. Rosetta said all of Clarke's short story volumes are included in the 35-title collection, which is currently on sale at all major retailers; each of the 35 volumes in the Arthur C.
