| Weak Nook Sales Lead to Disappointing B&N Holiday With sales of its Nook digital devices falling short of expectations for the holiday season, Barnes & Noble reported that sales for the nine week period ended December 29 fell at both its retail stores and in its Nook segment. Tracking Amazon: Dieting, Robert Jordan Battle for Number One A Memory of Light, the last book in Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series, is set to be released on January 8 from Tor. On January 2, a week before the book's publication, it reached Amazon's #1 bestselling spot. On January 3, however, it seems new year's resolutions to lose weight overpowered Jordan's millions of fans: Shred: The Revolutionary Diet: 6 Weeks 4 Inches 2 Sizes by Ian K.
