Perseus's PGW unit will continue to distribute Greystone titles in the U.S. and will extend its distribution to include all territories around the world except Canada where HarperCollins Canada will remain Greystone's distributor. more » In a notable children's deal in the U.K., Piccadilly Press, the children's book publisher founded by Brenda Gardner 29 years ago, has been acquired by Templar Publishing, the children's publisher owned by Bonnier Publishing Ltd. Piccadilly Press will continue to publish under its own imprint and Gardner will remain publisher, reporting to managing director Mike McGrath. C&T Publishing, a three-decade-old stalwart in quilting books, is carving new terrain with the spring launch of FunStitch Studio, a new imprint which aims to entice 8- to 14-year-olds to trade in their personal technology gizmos for some fabric, thread, and a sewing machine.
