Sandberg's 'Lean In' Tops Bestseller Chart
Sheryl Sandberg's Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead (Knopf) was the #1 overall bestseller for the week ending March 17, according to Nielsen BookScan. The book sold 74,000 copies, more than double the #2 book, David Baldacci's The Innocent. Knopf reported that Lean In has sold a total of 120,000 copies, including 50,000 e-books. more »
Robinson Has More on Storia, Hunger Games
During Thursday's conference call with analysts about third quarter results, Scholastic chairman Dick Robinson not only disclosed that HarperCollins will add hundreds of children's titles to Storia, but also, without getting into too much detail, talked about how the digital sales platform is progressing. He also said the steepest decline in Hunger Games was of the e-book editions. more »

Betsy DeJesu has joined Basic Books as assistant director of publicity, starting today. She brings with her over 12 years of experience, most recently at Oxford University Press where she was a senior marketing manager.
